Celebrating Generosity: A Thanksgiving Letter

Dear friends, family, and supporters,

This Thanksgiving, we at Hughes Charitable Foundation are grateful for five years as a Wyoming-based foundation. Since 2020, we’ve had the privilege of supporting nonprofits and communities across the state, witnessing how small acts of care and generosity can create lasting impact.

Over the years, we’ve seen neighbors helping neighbors in countless ways: volunteering at food pantries, mentoring youth, providing resources for families, or simply offering a kind word. Each act strengthens our communities and reminds us that Wyoming thrives when we care for one another.

This Thanksgiving, we invite you to consider what it is that you are thankful for. We also invite you to consider how you might support your community. A smile, a helping hand, a donation, or an hour of your time can ripple far beyond what you see. You could also write down what it is that you feel grateful for and express your gratitude to someone. Together, through generosity and compassion, we can continue making Wyoming stronger today and in the years ahead.
